Concord provides good opportunities to hikers who would want to scale new heights. Hikers will not be disappointed if they have come for Concord hiking. There are good summits that allow hikers to go for adventurous Concord hiking. Although the White Mountains are quite popular in the region, Concord hiking in the Summits is quite popular. These regions might be just a little less discovered because of the popularity of the White Mountains.
A lot of good summits are available for Concord hiking. This metropolitan area takes care of the hikers who are out to reach new places. One such place for interesting Concord hiking is Oak Hill located just outside the Concord city limits. It offers great Concord hiking opportunities with views on the western side toward Ragged Mountain and Mount Kearsarge to the north.

There is a fire tower on top of Oak Hill which is usually open from April to October during the weekday.
Located in the Bear Brook State Park are two more good summits for Concord hiking namely Catamount and Hall Mountain. The view from these summits is moderate and there is a fee to park by Catamount Hill. However, the view from Catamount Hill is better. The largest summit where one can go for Concord hiking in Uncanoonacs has radio towers in the south and is more natural in the north. These mountains often see hikers carrying large backpacks that are training for future expeditions. The trails here are the most challenging in the region which is great for training on off days or days with less time than normal to hike. Both Uncanoonacs have great views of downtown and can't be missed.
